CBD Oil 101
What is CBD (Cannabidiol) Oil?
CBD oil, also known as Cannabidiol oil, is a product derived from the cannabis plant. The main ingredient in CBD oil is Cannabidiol, which is a non-psychoactive compound known for it's therapeutic effects, especially in terms of managing anxiety, pain and inflammation.
Will taking CBD oil make me feel high?
No, taking our CBD Oil, ImmunaCBD, will not make you feel any type of high. CBD (cannabidiol) is non-psychoactive, meaning it does not produce a "high" feeling that is associated with the cannabinoid THC. CBD products derived from hemp contain only trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3% by law), which is not enough to cause any psychoactive effects.

- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

CBD Oil and Autoimmune Disease
How can CBD oil help people living with an autoimmune disease?
CBD oil may help people with autoimmune diseases due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Autoimmune diseases occur when the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy cells in the body. Since CBD is thought to have immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory effects, it may help modulate the immune response and reduce inflammation associated with autoimmune conditions including, but not limited to:
- Systemic Lupus
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Sjögren's Syndrome
- Psoriatic Arthritis
- Type 1 Diabetes
- Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
- Graves Disease
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
- and more
While some studies suggest that CBD may have a positive impact on autoimmune diseases, it's important to remember that research in this area is still in its early stages, and more clinical trials are needed to establish the efficacy and safety of CBD for specific autoimmune conditions. Individuals considering CBD for autoimmune diseases should consult with their care team to determine if CBD therapy is right for them.
How can CBD help people with lupus?
CBD's potential benefits for Systemic Lupus are primarily attributed to its anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties. Lupus is an autoimmune disease characterized by inflammation and the immune system attacking healthy tissues and organs in the body.
CBD may help lupus by:
Reducing Inflammation: CBD has been shown in studies to have anti-inflammatory effects, which could potentially alleviate some of the inflammation associated with lupus.
Pain Relief: CBD's analgesic (pain-relieving) properties may help manage pain and discomfort associated with lupus.
Immunomodulation: CBD oil may modulate the immune system, helping to regulate it's response. In autoimmune diseases like lupus that are caused by an overactive immune system, immune modulation may be beneficial.
How might CBD oil help with managing rheumatoid arthritis?
CBD oil may help alleviate symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis by interacting with the endocannabinoid system, which plays a role in regulating pain, inflammation, and immune responses. CBD has anti-inflammatory properties and may reduce pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. Additionally, it might influence immune system responses to help manage symptoms.
What is the best CBD oil dosage for autoimmune disease?
The optimal CBD dosage can vary greatly from person to person. Factors such as body weight, individual response and the condition being treated can affect the specific dosage.
